Problem to register to the forum?
Hello,
I have a friend that has tried to register on the forum, but he said that couldn't do that? I don't really know what did go wrong, but he has send Mike and email via the store if I am correct. Could someone check that for him? Thanks in advance! Ruud |
Does your friend have a name?
|
I don't know him personnaly, I know him via Youtube, his name there is Moreno Esposito.
Thanks for the help! |
He is our newest member(Jack Lupino username). :-)
|
Mike, you sir, are amazing!
Thanks a lot, for this, and everything else you and the other members on the forum do for me, it really means a lot to me! Just wanted to say that. Hope the wheater clears up soon, so I can use my RC-Monster converted Brushles Muggy :yipi: |
My pleasure - I appreciate your appreciation. :-)
For the record, the weather sucks here too - I don't think we were above freezing for more than a few hours for the entire month of February! |
Well, you could move the snow so that you can drive.
Here it is nothing but rain, I don't want to risk my Mamba Monster and Tekin RX8 for that. I am looking for a easy to maintan car that is not that expensive for parts. I was thinking maybe a Axial Wraith ( I don't like the Yeti ) but I think that the Wraith flips over to easy due to the high COG. Do you know if parts for the CRT.5 are easy to get still? Or does anyone else has an good option for a not to expensive car that is easy to maitain? I think that 1:10 scale or smaller is better since the parts for those are cheaper? Or do I need to start a new topic for this? Thanks again! Ruud |
CRT.5 parts should be easy enough to get for the most part - the Jammin short course truck is nearly the same truck, aside from the longer chassis. Any of the 1/10 SC trucks would be good choices - they are 1/10 truggies at their core for the most part.
|
Ah, sort of like the Traxxas Slash and Rustler?
|
slash 4x4 would be a good choice. :-)
|
Meh, I don't really like Traxxas, and a 4x4 is pretty expensive.
Then I would like the CRT.5 more, if I can buy one used. Is the Hobao Mini ST-e the same chassis, but from another brand? They look a lot like each other.. |
The Hobao mini is the same truck as the mini Hyper ST. Very similar to the crt.5, but not the same truck or same manufacturer. The crt.5 would be equivalent to a Hong Nor product I think.
|
Ah, it was Hobao and Ofna, what I meant.
It is Hobao here in Europe en Ofna in the USA, if I am correct, they are the same cars. The guy from ScriptAsylum has a CRT.5 on his site, I think I am gonna mail him, if he still has the car, I don't think so, because it is on the site for a long time.. |
Ofna is the US distributor for both Hong Nor and Hobao. :-)
|
Hmm, I am still tinkering about a 3rd car, now I have seen the Losi TenT, that looks good to, and a lot of parts to for it because of the SCTE series.
Hope I can find one for not to much money ( a TenT or a CRT.5 ) |
