RC4WD and Proline

I am thinking about getting some RC4WD wheels that are 40 series to fit with Proline 40 series tires.

Does anyone know if this will work?

Thanks,
Zack

I have seen some RC4WD tires on Axial oversize wheels, wich have the same bead, so I guess it should work.

I think 40 series is 40 series... no experience with RC4WD stuff, but works for other brands.

The proline 40 series trenchers use the 'old style' bead. don't know what tires you are planning on using, just make sure that the bead is the same. (most new tires use the traxxas style bead)

I have run the big bogger looking rc4wd tires on 40 series beadlock rims and they worked fine. Cannot remember what brand the rims were, maybe maxximizer or proline? Definitely 40 series.

The rc 4wd drive website only guarantees that their tires fit their wheels. So James if your wheels are anything other than RC4WD then that is the info I'm looking for. If they are both RC4WD then that does not help me.

Thanks for all the help!! That statement on RC4WD made me nervous.

I saw someone in a video of DJ medic ( I can't find the video now, they where in a huge cave/creek ) with RC4WD mudslingers on Axial Oversize wheels.
I had Big Joe's on those wheels, so it should work.
EDIT : Here it is, around 7:50:
