Hello Guys,

Which Typ of screws are on the closed Backplate? I mean the very small one.
Which screwdriver is the rigth one?
Is it possiblie to change the wires of the Motor?

Tanks!

I think it is a 1.5mm hex
Why would you change the wires?
You can lengten them with silicon wire, and/or put on new connectors.

I think they are 1.5 or 2mm hex. Be careful not to strip the screws, on my 1717 there is threadlock on them.

Changing cables would mean soldering directly at the windings inside the can. Never looked at it more closely, but I think that takes some soldering skills and good equipment.

Hi,

yes 1.5mm was rigth. The screwdriver was new, so it was very hard to get it in the screw.
One cable of my Motor is broken. I can't cut it because it is very near to the case. (5mm)
I will try to change it. I can't make it worse anymore.

5mm is not a lot indeed.
Maybe You can cut it at where it broke, and then strip the insulation off the last 5mm, open all the strings and then wedge an piece of 10 gauge wire in it?
And then offcourse solder it.

Hope it helps you!
