Price for 1520

I'm looking to free up some money to buy some other toys for me and my boy. What do you think I could get for a used Caste 1520? It's always worked well and I've used it very little. Factory wiring hasn't been messed with all original.

Thanks,
Nick

I'll give you a nickel plus shipping for it. But seriously, likely anywhere from $50-100. One could pick up a 1717 for about $100-120 off eBay.

I would of guessed it would of been more since they seemed to be in demand a few years ago. I've been out of the Rc world for a little bit.

I would say so especially those being limited release. But with the XO1 coming with the 1717, they are all over and make more power than the 1520.

I was looking at a 1518 on rctech for a while but they were stuck on price higher than what I could get the 1717.

But a 1717 can't fit in some vehicles. I sold a used 1518 a while back - I think I got $120 for it.

I just listed my 1520 along with a Tekin 1700kv motor on ebay.

Someone is trying to tell me that my CC 1520 is a fake. I don't think it is, but he keeps on sending me messages about it. I purchased this used from a board member here. How can I tell the difference?

Thanks,
Nick

Do the wires say Castle Creations?

Yes they do.

Then I’d say that’s a real one for sure. The Chinese clones don’t use Castle wires.

Thanks for the reply. The guy that wanted to buy it for a cheaper price was telling me the opposite. Anyway, I kept the motor because I always really liked it and I sold off enough of the other items, I didn't need to sell it.
