NEW Mamba X (Baby Monster X)

http://www.castlecreations.com/en/ma...sc-010-0155-00

This new ESC comes in a machined aluminum case, waterproof.

It's really just a smaller version of the Monster X -- same control board, same driver electronics, same BEC.

Just smaller with fewer output MOSFETs.

It rocks -- and combo'd with one of the new sensor motors, it makes the perfect ESC for rock crawling to record-breaking speed runs!

Very excited for these new products!!

Will these be delivering before Christmas? Along with the sensored 1410?

I mentioned that in the new product introduction meeting.

I got a lot of groans. Apparently I'm the only fan of green at Castle.

Got my Mamba X
lovely pice of hardware ;-)

Any chance Castle could make a "selection" of shorter wire harnesses
like 5 and 10 cm long for the Bec/receiver wire.
And different lenght sensor cables with a male standard sensor connector
this would be one connector less and a cleaner look

Would be great if used in touring cars ;-)

Check out Holmes Hobbies. He makes a sensor wire for the X series to eliminate the adaptor.

We are currently working on additional sensor wire lengths as well as direct to ESC sensor wires (IE X-series header pins on one side and standard sensor connection on the other); basically what nitrostar referenced from Holmes Hobbies. ~8-10 weeks for availability.

Thx Thomas !

A shorter RX wire would begreat as well
One of the killer features is really the aux wire
Link the enable/disable reverse ;-) great in Touring cars.

I have one little complain :whip:
There are no 4mm bullets included with the Mamba X
the standard 4mm bullets are too long and not as awesome as the Castle ones

nitrostarter 03.08.2017 04:32 PM

I saw this complaint elsewhere and it was addressed in that the motors now come with the male bullets soldered on already. Or you can buy them: http://www.castlecreations.com/en/ac...cc-bullets-4mm

So that means, thew new Mamba X is for Castle motors only ?
Come on, those 3 male bullets can't cut the margin that much ....

nitrostarter 03.09.2017 03:52 PM

Funny thing is my 1410 sensored came with 3 4mm female ends

My 1415 Kit will have them as well

But in my touringcar they are badly missing to power the 2300 kv motor....
