Proline Servo Saver Install

Hi all,

I just got a Proline steering kit off ebay, but no instructions, just tried to fit it and errrmmm:002: wont fit, looks like I've got to cut the stock steering pillars off the chassis??? is that right? can anyone let me know how they fitted theirs, a pic would be very helpful.

Cheers

I had to cut the pillars off and shave a little of the chassis brace.
It works great after that.

Yep you're right i just attacked the chassis with a dremel, now it fits lovely. Only prob is while rebuilding my truck i put both diff's in the same way!!!!!!:035: so it aint going anywhere, guess i better get busy with the hex driver

It is easy to do that. I don't like when i do it but easy to do.

Here is what i did; I bought a set of extra hex keys, and dremeled them off, so i can put them in my electric screwdriver.. I like wrenching, don't get me wrong..
