Now that's waht I love to see, a true monster. Looks awesome!

How many cells do you run?

sjcrss 06.17.2006 05:00 PM

It looks very nice, great job on it....which bk controller are you running?

Serum 06.17.2006 07:31 PM

A true monster! that's for sure.

AP Alex 06.17.2006 07:37 PM

I don't know right off hand what BK I'm running, but I running 14 IB 4200 batteries. Mike setup the motor, speed controller, and UBEC.

Welcome to the forum bytheway!

You could try running it on 16 cells! it would be a blast, i can guarantee you..

Nice mount you made for the fan! Very clean..!

AP Alex 06.17.2006 07:54 PM

I talked to Mike about what I was looking for and he made it for me. He has the templet. It is even wearing the RC-Monster logo, and screw into the clamp on the heatsink.

i am sure they will show up in his store any day then!

Can you get some closeups of it? and some shots from above of your truck (nude) :p

capitol 06.17.2006 08:12 PM

Where did you get that fan mount/brace on top of your motor?

AP Alex 06.17.2006 08:37 PM

I got it from Mike. I told him what I was looking for and he built it.

AP Alex 06.17.2006 09:55 PM

Serum here are the pictures you asked for and the controller is a 9920. Please do not think this E-maxx is a self queen. I just clean it up real good after I bash it.

you must clean the tires too ;)

squeeforever 06.17.2006 10:26 PM

Who doesn't?

AP Alex 06.17.2006 10:29 PM

Like my father always said, " There is no use in washing the car if you're not going to clean the tires". I actually wrecked the truck this morning and shredded the bolts holding the rear bumper on. I had to take the whole assembly apart to fix it. At 13lbs. this thing destroys parts when I wreck it.

Serum 06.18.2006 04:18 AM

Yeah, here is a tip;

Get some plastic bumpers for it. Aluminum bumpers don't last. they don't give a mm..

With plastic bumpers, the impact is more absorbed.
