What motor is closest to a hacker c40 12t

HI,
I have a need for a aother brushless motor, People have recomended the hacker c40 12t. I of course would like a better priced motor. Less $$ for the name and almost equal performance. It's going into a Heli, So the KV is kinda important. Can you recommend what motoer is close to that one that you carry. A fiego or Wonderer would be fine if I knew which one.

I'll be running 11.1 volt and mostly less then 25 amps. But airflow will be limited.

PS. 3.17 MM shaft is prefered

You could look on the store if you know what you need. Not sure with a heli and what kind of kv that would need. but if you scroll to the bottom, that'll bring you to the store. hope this helps...or, maybe someone here may beable to help?

I am tryig to figure out the KV I would need. The Heli is a Corona, the popular setup is
8 cells GP3300 with the Hacker c40 12t

Other people have recommend a 3000KV motor. Heli's dont get much airflow so motor heat tends to be a issue. Weight is very important also.

I am thinking either a Wonderer 11T short or a Feigo 8L

I was thinking maybe with a L motor I would not need the Heatsink

What's the kv of the C40 12T?

I don't kow the KV of the C40, hack did not puclish them, However I suspect it is the same as the B40 as it's just with no heat sink (I THink) that would be it is about 3500 KV, I guess that his unloaded.
The 8L is listed as 3700 KV

The motor I have now flys but that is about it. It is 2000 KV, Another popular motor is the Mega 16/15/3 which is about 3000 KV.

Most people are flying on 7-8 round cells that would be 7 *1.2 * 3000 = 25000 RPM,

I am going with 11.1 volts and looking for better performance, Thus I was thinking either the 11s or the 8L would be the right choice, I was just hoping somebody here could give me a real world comparison of the c40 12t and a wonderer or feigo.

I am leaning towards the 8L for heat disapation

The C40 and B40 motors are the same, the C probably stands for "car" - just as you thought with only the heatsink being the difference.

The closest you might get in Feigao motors that are in stock is the Feigao 380C 13t, it's only slightly slower than the C40 12t.
