Here are some pics of Andys nearly finished wheelie bar. he used steel road ends which he polished, slot car alloy rims and a heavy duty shock which he adjusted in length and limited in travel with the white washers which are usually come with every shock (just placed a couple over the shock shaft inside the shock).. now he guesses It will work... but will have to wait for the first test run. |
I use a photo program and resize to 640x480
|
what photo program, and where to get iT?
|
any photo program will probably do it - my program came with my laptop - its microsoft picture it..

This truck belongs to Andy, a customer in Germany. We have been slowly building this up for about a month now(well, Andy is building it, I am supplying the parts). The wheelie bar is Andy's own design. Quite a nice design for sure. The truck is shaping up to be quite the looker as well. It is being built as a display initially, but I am sure Andy will only be able to fight the urge to run it for so long and will eventually give in to his desire and give it a good bashing! He has gotten several ideas from other trucks on the site and has a mind of his own as well (as you can tell by the wheelie bar!). More pictures of this fine truck will follow as well.

Very cool. I love it - you guys might have something there. If you could get the assembly to fit onto the rear bulk brace holes only (not on the tower) and maybe use longer rods - it would fit on any maxx and would be easy to make into a kit.
Nice! |
Looks good!
I would add a cross on the lower two arms, so there is a bit stiffness when the truck starts to tumble on it's four wheels. One tumble session like that and it will be destroyed (would be a petty, because it looks so sweet!) |
