What's the KV?

You have a controller that could run it?

squeeforever 08.11.2006 06:09 PM

If I'm not mistaken, the Bolido has a 10mm shaft! That might be a problem...

coolhandcountry 08.11.2006 06:45 PM

I think it is a 8 or 10 pole motor as well. So rpm is going to be limited.

squeeforever 08.11.2006 10:19 PM

It's a 10 poler.

I found this on another site:

for 24-30 cells, recommended controller: Future 40.160 WK, for 1:5 scale, 9HP!

Too bad you don't want to go Lehner.. their 3080 is good for 15 hp..

the 3040 does about the same as the bolido, but requires a less expensive controller. And if you where willing to share what project it would be on, we might as well advice you on the controller. Perhaps the Phoenix HV110 would be good for the project.

I think I would pic the lehner 30 80 or 3060 for it is a 2 pole and can carry a higher rpm limit. not that you will need it.

Serum 08.12.2006 02:19 PM

PM received and answered!

the 2280/ 3040 would be the motor of my choice.

Powerhungry boy... :p

squeeforever 08.12.2006 03:22 PM

Serum, I already suggested the 30 Series and a HV110 yesterday :p.

Serum 08.12.2006 04:17 PM

the HV110 doesn't seem to be a good option. check Startscreams last reply

squeeforever 08.12.2006 04:21 PM

Yea. Just read it. Doesn't seem to be very promising :frown:...
