Nice truck, gotta love those Hellfire shells.

I love the "I got screwed by... Tonys Screws" Decal. Class! :)

danverz 08.15.2006 05:26 AM

Great !
I love those BeadLock wheels.

Is that a self made chassis ?

Ciao,
Daniele

Darren 08.15.2006 06:16 AM

Looks like an FLM chassis.

Serum 08.15.2006 08:28 AM

Cool ride Darren. I bet it's faster than the HVmaxx you had.. ;)

Why do you used 8 of those stiff shocks?

coolhandcountry 08.15.2006 08:52 AM

Why did you choose to run the narrow moabs on it?
I like the body. It is tight.
The truck is awesome as well.

I am still working on the setup. Not sure what I will end up with but, it actually handles very well with the 8.

THanks for looking,

Rusty

Thanks, the wheels and tires are for a crawler project, but I wanted them in the picture for the bling factor. I will mainly be using velocity wheels.

Thanks for looking.

looks darn sweet havent seen any of those in a while!:D

Nice job. You got both those fans hooked up directly to the batteries? If so, do you think they add much drain on the batt's?

Can't say what bigabike's fans are rated but they don't draw much current.

The larger 50-60mm ones are typically 200-300ma and the small ones are only 100-200ma. It does vary of course and depends on what voltage they run on. I would guess bigabikes are about 400ma combined.

What's that mean? In a 15 minute run (at 400ma draw), they would only "use" 100mah of battery.

If they are 5V fans, it will be even less drain....

I really like your little trick for the battry hold down straps. Do the little plastic stand off's come with the straps's ?.

Serum 08.15.2006 12:46 PM

Nope, the standoffs don't come with the straps..
