Gmaxx battery pads

How many of you use the G-maxx battery pads with your G-maxx chassis, or do you use associated battery cups instead ?.

i use the blue g-maxx battery pads on my stick packs, i sticks on pritty well to the al chassis but i was thinking of puting some super glue on the sides so dirt doesn't get in and make the stick part not stick, im considering the associated cups when i move on to 7 cell and onn,.....

I like to use the pads so far. I may try the ae cups later on. On some batts I
think the ae cups could have been made a little wider.

I know what you mean leroy. Some of my batterys fit real tight. Thats why i cut them down so ther only a 1/2 in tall. They fit just under the battery bars.

I'm thinking Velcro carpet for my Peak lipo's. Has anybody tried that?

Well Hippie, i am not using the straps anymore, they kept snapping. Here is what Mike does; he uses two straps, one from front to back, and one from back to front. Over eachother. This works flawless.

Rene i saw that post, thats what i planed on doing.

I have no troubles with the big straps and blue foam

coolhandcountry 08.26.2006 08:12 AM

The older pads surely sucked. The new ones hold alot better. I only run a single on the new ones. With the small weight of lipo really helps to.
