UE Towered VBS

Hi there guys. Just ordered my Towered VBS through Mike :027: :018: . I am just wondering what people think of this part? Has anyone ever broken one? Will the TI skids bend? Are there any things I should keep in mind with this part except to use gloves when touching it? :P Just really, are there any slight problems with it in general? I couldn't see much on it here.

Thanks

Some guy managed to peal the entire vbs open when he slammed the pit fence on the track going wot. That take's allot of force to peal such a product open.

In short, chances you damage a vbs are very low. I'd keep an eye out for stripping any hole's. Also like I said take your time shimming the diff's and your set.

Like any skid, titanium will bend if you hit something hard enough. It ain't bomb proof, but very strong. It can take allot more punishment than any regular bulk/ tower/ skid combo.

Yeah, you need to take care in building and use loctite. Even with the screws need to be checked pretty often.

The diffs once preperly shimmed and oiled need almost no maintainence. They're awesome!:004: The whole VBS thing is. Congrats!

Can't wait now. I'm dying of excitement over here.

I will definetly remember the threadlock, thanks standard!

As for diffs, I will be running 8-Spyders before the end of october. Currently have two FLM diffs.

Im really curious as to the handling difference. I will be buying Racer X and hopefully some new wheels/tyres in two weeks time, so this thing will be owning some truggies hopefully! :)

I think Proline Powerstrokes should be your next investment.

I allready have a 4 supershock setup which I like, and modded to fit stock suspension for now. If you didn't see the thread?

Look at post 10.

I like the shocks alot, they're really tough. No point making changes to them till I get RacerX or VBS though.

SM project so i'm getting as many SM parts as I can. :018:

Well I really like these shocks, I have always wanted a set and heck, if it works well, then I shouldn't change it. :018:

Think they look better too.
