Hi im new to the forum, hopefully going to get a B4 with mamba maxx in the future
so here are a few of my RC videos i have made(wont be doing this with the B4:027: )

Wow...Thats pretty...uh..impressive that they are still going...How did you waterproof it so well?? By the way, welcome to the forums!

you said that you are going to get a B4 with a mamba max, instead of the mamba, you might want to check out a mtronics esc, they are water proof, since you and your friend like water so much!

thanks, everything is waterproofed with silicone sealant, works great and then some grease in the servo gears and the battery pack in a big balloon and seal the neck, i also run a waterproof ESC which males things easier

na i wouldnt risk somthing as expensive as that

i will be keeping my brushed setup so when i feel like it i can go out in the snow and stuff aswell

That last video was plain crazy - nice job waterproofing - get some paddle tires and make them boats - LOL - awesome job....

i thought of doing that or somthing similar but in testing the front floats and the rear sinks:030:

I believe the mamba is waterproof. I know the 1:18th is as I've ran it in a bucket of water.

And I was told the mamba maxx is as well.

Although it being waterproof, they do state that recievers are not! LOL

stiil though unless CC say that it is 100% waterproof then i wont take it near water, there is no point risking somthing taht expensive, if it does go im not gonna get a new one if they dont say that its waterproof

and the receiver doesnt matter i can waterproof them

i just dont like to do ESCs(although i can) especialy brushless ones

I don't take any of mine near water. In fact, never even waterproofed mine before. Would like to know how for winter driving though. CC stated they have tested them in water and that the recievers usually go, but the esc's are still running.

well here is how i do it
receiver, take out of the case and cover with silicone sealant

then leave to dry and put in a balloon, to make it easy to change ESCs or servos i use servo extension leads in both channels, so i can silicone around them and leave them poking out of the neck of the balloon

then put a zip tie on the neck, then some grease or silicone in the neck then another zip tie, and you should be left with a little bit with grease/silicone in that water cant get through
then i put duct tape on the balloon to stop it splitting

batterys i do the same balloon thingg...

and servo i put silicone on the circuit board and round the edges of the case and put grease in the gears, mainly around the main gear and where it comes out of the case, this should look just like stock...

thats how i do it and it definatly works if done properly
