What about this LiPo Charger?
Ok, so I found this charger on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 I would like to use Lipo with my G2R Revo and found this charger. I would like to run a pair of 2 or 3 cell 6000mah packs from maxamps Let me know what you guys think... |
Ha! I guess I should have looked at the specs first. It says it can charge 2 to 4 cell Lipos, but only at 2 amps. I don't think that would be enough.
And when charging 2 packs at a time, it can only charge 2 cell packs. I guess it would be ok to use if you were on a budget though. The other charger I'm looking at is the Astro Flight 109 Lithium Charger. You can find it here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Astro-Flight-109...QQcmdZViewItem Would I be able to charge 2 packs at once? Would I just use 2 balancers? |
You know Mike has also got some nice chargers in stock?
:p |
You can get the 989 from Mike.

How about an ICE Charger or a 989. You still need a power supply, but you would need that for the astro charger too. That's what I use and it does everything, the astro only does lipo packs but the ice does nicd, lion, lipo, nimh, motor breakins, etc. I use it on my 8000mah lipo's at 8amps and it charges in one hour.
I was going to get the scorpion charger that says it can charge at 2C but that would mean charging the packs at 16amps and the Scorpion only goes up to 10amps? That's seems like they have a good marketing to me. Most people wouldn 't notice that 10amps is the max on that charger. |
The 989 comes with the power supply....you can get one from MIKE...LOL
