MambaMax Problems
 

I plugged it in and I set it up fine with my transmitter but when I accelerate/brake the motor doesn't move. The lights come on correctly though, forward = green, yellow = neutral, red = brake.

When I set it up and turned it on, it "beeped" the motor, which shows it can control it.

Any ideas?

Check you have set the LVC to right voltage? I once carelessly set LVC to 14,8 V and I had 11,1 V Li-Po, it just flashed the ligts.. If you have too small start power, it would beep?

I use 8 cells. Nimh. All settings on ESC set to default.

You say low voltage might be a problem? Might need to charge batteries?

I think you problem have something to do with voltage.... You can set the start power with castle link or your transmitter. I think you can solve your problem by adjusting these optios : http://www.castlecreations.com/image...ax/Max-CL2.jpg

I would try adjust more start power...

Have you checked the esc's receiver's connector?
Probably its in the reversed position.

Reciever connector is fine, can only go in one way.

I tried having no cut off, 5v cut off also tried low and high start power. Still the same problem.

Tried another battery and also no luck.

I've put them on charge for now, because I havn't tried a well charged pack yet.

Or try to reprogram it? Doesn't sound like the problem, but not sure. It's a weird problem you are having!

Charged battery pack made it work. Wierd. Might not be enough power or something.

that has happened to me before..thought he pack wasn't charged and hte system was acting funny.....dropped a freshly charged batt and viola.....it happens...don't feel bad....electronics act weird sometimes....

The Mamba Max won't send power to the motor if the battery voltage is too low. This is obviously what you were experiencing. In case anyone wants to know why their Mamba Max shows the proper LEDs but doesn't give power to the motor, this is why.

Right Metal, the leds still come on because there is power enough for that, just not enough to run the motor.
