This look right?

Just couldn't find the diagram I was looking for so I had to make my own.

What I plan to do is run 2 batteries and hook them up to my controller via deans.

So I want the controller to hook to the harness via a dean and then the batter to the harness via deans as well.

So how does this look?

Yup, that's right.

Someone should gather all the various diagrams and make a sticky...

Rcbros 10.14.2006 07:56 PM

Glad you volunteered lol

Thanks for the clarification!

I have one around here somwhere...Took me a hour to make it at that...

BrianG 10.14.2006 08:21 PM

First of all, I did not volunteer. :p

Second, I can't make stickies. Mods have to do that.

Third, instead of tedious MS Paint drawings, why not take pictures instead and post them in the sticky? Things like series adaptors, parallel adaptors, charge/balance two packs on one balancer, etc.

Looks proper. But if you are able to, it would help to shorten some of those wires.

Yeah, I just realized that lol. Need to pick up some more solder.

It also looks as though theres a nick in the negative wire on the UBEC.

Is that supposed to be a series adaptor?:032: I think you have it wired wrong…….

Looks like it has positive to positive

This is a series adaptor

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

BrianG 10.14.2006 11:36 PM

Yeah, that ISN'T wired right! The way it's hooked up, the ESC will only get the difference in voltage between the 2 packs (which should be under 0.5v), but whether it's positive or negative would be anyones guess...

go4gold 10.15.2006 02:20 AM

This is the best I could do on short notice and without a deans connector in my hand. Wired in series. Feel free to criticize or correct. I would post it if I knew how to attach a thumbnail. cemetery's looks correct just not as pretty as mine.

Rcbros 10.15.2006 02:25 AM

Yep figured out it was wrong. Jeesh even with a diagram I screw up lmao.
