I can't be the only one!
I'm trying to connect an cellpro 4s lvc to my girls truck. I have tried everything to get this damn thing to work. I tried thru the taps in series, nothing. I talked to Austin, he said dump the white wires and wire it pos to pos, and neg to neg to the controller.....did that, nothing! Someone here has got to have some type of digram, or some knowledge on how to hook this damn thing up! can't be this hard man, plug and play...or should be!:013: :035: :035: :035: :mad:1 :mad:1 :mad:1 :019: :019:

pics need more details...

i guess i'm not sure what you guys are looking for. I just need to know how to connect this thing so it works? Anyone else use a lvc? The adaptor needs to go to batts, the esc into lvc, and lvc into rx....????

try again

Here it is in paint
http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...user/lvc-1.jpg this is what the lvc came like. just cannot figure out how this is to hook up. you can see that i made an adapotor kinda like the series balancer, but this does not work. |
In the pictures you don't show the series "Y" adapter connecting the main power leads of the batteries together. I just want to make sure that you are using that and it is hooked up properly. From the first picture in post #8, you would have the series adapter set up so that the positive of the right battery has a wire connecting it to the negative of the left battery, with the left battery's positive going to the ESC and the right's negative going to the ESC.

Hey metal. Thanks, but a tad confusing. Can you do one of your groovy diagrams for me? I'm not sure what you mean. I tried to hook the pos to pos and neg to neg and dump the white wires, but it didn't work....

Apparently Austin has never used the FMA cell pro's DPM's with the warrior controller. I tried using the FMA skyvolt DPM's with the 9920 and it doesn't work. I tried working with FMA to get it fixed but I got impatient and went with a Quark esc instead.
You can try working with FMA or invest in another controller. It has something to do with the signal voltage. The German controllers don't work properly with FMA DPM's. You'd probably be better off with the MMaxx with 4S. Good luck |
Hmmm...that is some good info to know...cause I have a 2095 Micro...and i plan on going lipo next spring...now I have to figure out what brand of LVC to use with my controller....thanks starscream....for the info that is

What can I say, I guess I go through the pain so you don't have to :002: FMA was more than willing to work with me. I sent them my JR RS300 receiver & 9920 esc. They got the DPM's to work (not perfectly) but when I tried the DPM's with my RS310, it had the same original problem. Thats when I went with the Quark. I'm actually racing with my original setup from a few years ago Maxcim motors N32 system on 6S. I get around 30 minutes runtime on the track (its a small track mind you but the Lipo's are only 3200mAh). |
Hmmmm, looks like I'll be emailing Austin! It's a 40.00 LVC! That's too much not to work!
