??9920 and plastic center gear??

I was curious about when the BK warrior 9920 controllers would be back in stock cause I know they have been on backorder for quite awhile. Unless I just miss it when they are in.

And I also am looking for a plastic spur gear for my hellfire, it uses a center diff and I am having a hard time finding a gear that I can use with it and my brushless motor.

THanks guys,

BIG D

I think you can use a kyosho spur on that. I thought it uses the same cups as the savage.

you could use the hardened steel mod 1 piions mike has against the steel spur on the hellfire. http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...ED_PINION_MOD1

Thats not wise....They still don't last for some reason...MacII went through several...The plastic spur Rene mentioned is what you need. It should bolt right up..

Why is that I wonder? After all, the stock Nitro engine uses a hardened steel clutchbell. :032:

I dunno either...

Doesn't mater anyway. They are out of stock too. Have been for a while. :010:

Serum 10.18.2006 10:52 AM

jhautz 10.18.2006 11:00 AM

I meant the hardened mod1 pinions are out of stock.

Towers has got some hardened pinions. but they appear to be not so hard...

Big Daddy 10.19.2006 12:29 PM

alright thanks guys, I will have to order me one. (well probably two in case I tear it up)

If you are referring to the Century motor gears from Tower, I would recommend against them. They are not that 'hardened' - I have gone through a 14T gear in about 45 minutes of driving.

I hate to mention the name here, but CF of FD uses a true hardened Mod1 clutchbell with a 5mm mount epoxied in place that may add just a little weight at the motor, but I have been running one in a Kyosho MP7.5 conversion with a metal spur with no problems.

Big Daddy 10.20.2006 04:21 PM

you got any pics of that conversion? That is my next project
