Bracing the GMaxx motor mount

I've recently installed my 10L onto my Gmaxx motor mount, with the motor mounted in the centre but high up and the 9918 underneath. I like this configuration but am concerned about the pinion flexing away from the spur and damaging things.

MIke mentioned how it was possible to brace this using some standard turnbuckles and rod ends onto the shock tower (I think). I have UE shocktowers and am having difficulty getting to grips with how this hangs together.
Has anyone got any pics of this setup, or a similar type of motor brace, using standard bits rather than bespoke one-off designs(we don't all have a workshop to fabricate aluminium parts).
Thanks

The UE shocktowers will work fine. The turnbuckles actually run from the motor mount to the shock tower. You screw the extra rod ends through the motor mount plate and shock tower into the extra rod ends (rod ends should face each other between the rear shock tower and motor mount). Then, you put a screw through the mounted rod ends and the turnbuckle rod ends with a nut on the other side. Sorry, I don't have a picture, but hopefully the explanation was helpful.

OK MIke, I think I follow you. I've tried this already and it didn't seem to line up properly, but I'll give it another go.
Thanks
