As Perris would say, "That's Hot"

I was running my single BL Maxx today with a receiver pack (some of you may remember that my Ubec keeps getting hot and burning up it's little capacitor) and I checked the temps on the speed control and it was 200 degrees! Motor was about 145-150. I checked everywhere for some kind of short but come up with nothing. Any suggestions? It is a 9920/9L on 14cells.
Thanks.

Yeah, I burnt out the UBEC also. What it ended up being is the batteries were touching the chassis. The cusion that Gorilla Maxx gives is not enough. I shrink wraped my batts and replace the UBEC with another one and I have not had the problem since. Also use the little squares that come out of the blue cusion to conver the x braces that are near the batts because I also witness some arching.

My batts are shrink wrapped and I am using the stock chassis but I will inspect the batts again just to make sure.

I've been running this setup for a while now and havn't had these issues until recently. Gearing is 66/20 with a tire that is about a little over half an inch shorter than the stock tires.
Thanks.
