MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 03:47 PM

Are you completley stock right now?

rc-car-crazy 04.08.2005 03:48 PM

yea

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 03:51 PM

ok. So you want a list of everthing you need to go with the GMAXX chassis and are going to run the Plenty motor?

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 03:56 PM

SuperMaxx E-Maxx Hardened Steel Idler Kit

This is the center CVDs needed for the extended GMAXX chassis which is highly recommended when going brushless:

2 - Maximizer 7075 Aluminum Diff Cups

2 - Integy Aluminum Diff Case

2 - Integy Gear Box Collar

2 - Maxx 2.5 Cvds by RD Logics

and if get all that i will eb able to run the Plettenberg Bigmaxximum 1800watt

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 04:04 PM

You will have to get the esc to go with that motor.

I would also recommend you go with Gorilla Maxx G2 X-Brace Motor Mount

Have you looked at the 9L and Warrior 9918 as an alternate solution?

rc-car-crazy 04.08.2005 04:14 PM

is the 9L and Warrior 9918 a fast motor

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 04:21 PM

Yes its very fast and a lot cheaper. The 9L is for 14 cells. If you are running 12 cells you will want the 8L.

Feigao brushless motor 540 9L

Warrior 9918 Brushless Car Controller

I would suggest going with the BEC so you dont need to run a receiver pack and get the RC Monster Heatsink/Motor Clamp

External BEC/UBEC

i have heard of that motor before andheard that soem people do not even have to upgrade anything to run this motor is this true

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 05:21 PM

Partially. You can stay stock for a bit depending on how you drive but you will have to upgrade these parts sooner than later. The high power brushless motors will wear these stock parts quick. IMO you will save yourself a lot of headaches if you upgrade now.

rc-car-crazy 04.08.2005 05:26 PM

i will bare that in mind

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 05:30 PM

Good Luck

Dafni 04.08.2005 06:52 PM

so is this gorilla motor mount also compatible on the stock tranny mounted on the stock cassis?

MaxxFusion 04.08.2005 07:12 PM

It is compatible with the stock tranny just not on the stock chassis.
