G-maxx chassis extension
Can I use the chassis extension on a stock e-max chassis? Also if I don't want the rear skid included with the kit can I just order this:
(GMX04-EX-AL-REARPLATE) G2 Ext Aluminum Rear Plate only? Thanks |
I don't think you can use the ext. kit on a stock chassis, since it incoperates the x braces.... alos along with the rear upperplate it has 2 posts that stiffen the ext. in the rear.....you can however use a front skid in the rear, in place of the lower skid...because it is the exact...layout as a front skid....except for you have to take the slight bend out of it....I did this for mine...but I used a titanium front skid in the rear, and took the slight kickup out of the skid....looks real nice too....

Ok, Thanks

I would think with some mods, you could use it with the stock chassis.

Nah...It wouldn't be worth it really...

Not only that, the stock chassis is not worth extending. |
When useing the chassis extension I know that you can use a standard emaxx shaft, but what i want to know is has anyone tried useing revo centre shafts as i here that they are stronger.. I know therevo shafts are different sizes but does anyone know if they would fit.

They should.

you can use one of the front or rear shafts and cut them down to size for the middle
