How did that happen?
 

I always look at the "most users ever online" number down at the bottom of the forum home page and prior a couple of days ago, it was 45, and prior to that it was 39 I believe. Now we go to 11.01.2006 at 10:30 AM and it says 284!? How did we get such a spike like that. I know this forum is growing everyday but to have a big jump like that is kinda interesting. Can't wait to see that number everyday.

I don't know how that happened, but I do know I've been trying to get everyone I can over here. Everytime I go to the track at my LHS someone ALWAYS stops to ask what I'm driving and where they can find out information about BL; so of course I give them the site address. I tell them what I know, but there is such a large knowledge base here with more experience than I have by far.

My guess is that it are mainly bots, searching the boards. And perhaps one lost a screw (or a bit) and kept logging on..
