Christmas is coming

Hey I was noticing christmas is not far away once again.
I was wondering on suggestion for a present from the wife to me.
If you was going to get a new rc what would you get?
Suggestion is most helpful. A reason for them would be nice to.
Nothing to outrageous in money.

A BPP LSP would be cool if you could find one...But...I would probably choose a Revo if I were you...

I'm kinda diggin those CRT's Jammin conversions!

coolhandcountry 11.07.2006 10:43 PM

Well if I go revo. I will go with the g2r.
I was thinking about a truggy as well.
I don't want nothing small.
Was thinking of maybe a 1/10 with a mamba system.

Well... Imma tell ya... I seen a few of your ebay listings... and think I saw you sell one off a little while back. But after many parts purchases... I've finally built what I wanted... a truck that moves faster then my head can follow it.

I love my traxxas rustler. but my love for traxxas goes way back to my super customized hawk 2 years and years ago. I've done lots of mods to mine tho... only maybe 15 original parts left... FLM aluminum all around, RC-Parts.com alum rims, dirt hawg II tires, RPM bearing carriers, and have ordered a few bodies to paint. Only stock parts left are a radio/receiver (to be replaced tomorrow), top chassis plate, and the rear drive shafts. Hah... it might be cheaper to just order all the parts and build one!

To push all that around... A mamba max & 5700 cms engine (thanks to all the peeps here for the suggestions!) which makes my heavy little truck ROLL. It's literally a blur on the street. With a little practice on the throttle... it's very easy to get used to keeping it on the track.

If nitro wasn't so dirty... I'd have a revo or jato :)

Revo is a good choice Leroy.

Associated T4 is nice and cheap and a blast with a Mamba. :D

I was also checking out the xlb. The conversion on here made me think twice.
It was on the mind before to. What about some big RCs? I like big. Any one other than aqwut have a cst 7.7. Maybe something larger or same size.

How about a 1/6 size monster truck.

My Friend has one and it is soooooo big.

Oyeah, that truggy is the best thing money can buy. Go for it Leroy!
BTW, Papa, how did you find it? assembly and performance, I mean.

Papa 11.08.2006 11:55 AM

.......The Prospec kit went together like Butta'........As many of you know I had a CRT pro last season and was very pleased with it. After 16 gallons of fuel through the CRT I decided to unload it and make a switch. My lap times have dropped 2 seconds a lap.....The Mugen turns like no other and the only hopup not in the kit that I added are the brake disc.http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/2546

Do tires count as hop ups? I am in love with the new MTR tires from Proline both Holeshots and Bowties. The Ofna yellow molded foams are the shizzz.......Indoor season is hear and I anxiously await the Panther Switch MT release.

Serum 11.08.2006 01:06 PM

Papa 11.08.2006 01:17 PM
