For what is the strobe sprong kit good?

I am just shopping goodies in Mikes Shop...

Can someboby explain to me - the strobe sprong kit: for what is it used?

Any help would be appreciated.

It's used as a more consistent 'spring' for the strobe slipper.

These are back as well? hmmmm

Dang.... You guys got me excited there for a second.:eek: I thought that the sprongs were back. I have been looking for one forever... I guess I will not need it once the slipperential is out anyway.

I'm sick of seeing the wobbly spur. :mad:1

when i ran the sprong on my rr setup and also with the strobe setup, the spur gear did wobble very slightly, this is because of the way the back slipper plate sits on the upper input shaft.
