Lipo batteries storing temperatures
Getting to the Winter months in the UK, it isn't usual to have subzero temperatures at night and under 14C through the day. :026:
I keep my Lipos in my shed, with my charger. Do they need to be kept at room temperature? I'll probably bring them inside anyway but just intrested to know. |
It's advised to store them at room temperature. (TP)

What about running in the colder temps?
I remember you didn't have good luck with this rene. |
No, the voltage drops.. I drove them on a -28degree C, their voltage dropped amazingly quick.
|
But that is a pretty cold day. What about like -5 c or so?
|
Warm up the batteries before you run them, and run them hard so the cold doesn't remove all of the heat they produce.
