To lengthen or not to lengthen?

I am stuck between getting the extended chassis or the regular. Do the Maxx sized bodies look fine when it is extened and the pede is widened? I dont want it to look like a over sized body on my pede.

I would extend it...

TRU3 11.25.2006 05:37 PM

Ok. Now I am trying to decide if I should just get the complete fastlane kit.

squeeforever 11.25.2006 06:31 PM

I think for the price, it is well worth it...

TRU3 11.25.2006 06:35 PM

Are the parts strong ? I dont want to get full alloy and have parts bending. I know they have that gurrentee and all.

Nick 11.25.2006 06:45 PM

Majority of FLM is good strength, the chassis is really good for the price.

I would definatly extend. :)

squeeforever 11.25.2006 07:06 PM

The FLM stuff is just about as strong as it gets. With the warranty they have, you can't beat it...

boss 302 11.26.2006 09:30 AM

i have had no problems with my flm parts and the warranty is really nice. definatly get the extended chassis too.

The extension is nice. I think the maxx size bodies look better.
The arm extended or not is another story. It makes a wider truck for less
roll over. But don't work with the cvds out. Some one was making a set for it.

squeeforever 11.26.2006 10:50 AM

Yea. FLM is/was suppose to be working on some CVD's for the extended arms...

What do you guys think about the FLM kit that they sell here on RCM, with mamba max 5700? I think that is what I am gonna go with.

I think you should be fine with that set up if you're putting it in a pede

the normal cvd's for the stampede do work witht the extended arms. and there is a dogbone conversion for the extended arms aswell. for the cvd's u need the white washer that comes with them. this isent from personal experience but the guys over at rcbros.com have got the cvd's to work and they also have a nice dogbone conversion for the extended arms and it looks real nice. i think i might have to try it out when i get my extended arms.:004:
