buil with carbon fiber and plastic?
hello maxx owner,
i come from germany and my english is very bad - sorry. I have any question about the carbon fiber chassi from gorillamaxx. I want to drive the carbon fiber with stock/RPM parts. I think this is a better compilation than the complete Alu Chassi with alu suspension - i think, for hardcore races and crashes you need parts to form and break, if you build only with alum. you had distortion. did anyone crash a carbon fiber chassi or has it in use for hardcore racing??? - Did it break by racing-accidents?(carbon) (Carbon isnt impact resistand) What did you think about ??? thank you for answer! I race a carbon fiber chassis and haven't had issues with breakage at all. I also run all aluminum because I like the precision in the steering and suspension (flex makes for sloppier handling). I don't tend to crash much, but haven't broken or bent a lot of stuff over the past few years. If everything is built properly (no loose screws, etc.), you won't have any problems with the durability.

plus the carbon looks very nice and clean also...:)

I have the CF chassis and have not had any problems with it jumping or tumbling. I even had a couple of screws come loose and the chassis was basicly held on to the front bulkhedads with one or two screws and nothing happend. I drove it at least half of the day like this. I will be using locktight on all the screws now.

i will see how my luck goes with CF chassis. Hopfully well.
