Video Jammin bigbores on a Gmaxx
I've tried powerstrokes, traxxas bigbores w/2 stage rpm pistons, supermaxx supershocks and nothing compares to the bigbores I stole from my Jammin x1 crt. If you have shock towers with a bunch of adjustment holes knuckleheads, FLMs, Novas all you need are the shocks and the mounting studs (the top mounting hole in the shock is larger than standard size maxx shocks) Here is a Video note the nice landings no slapping or bouncing. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...64402387&hl=en They also let you get more power to the ground.

The heat sink you have is good for cooling. It won't help hold motor together
though. I have messed a motor up like that. Just for reference. |

I've heard stories about XLs blowing their guts out during a crash and didnt want to risk loosing a motor, controller, and God knows what else. I ran for a long time with just the motor peened and had no problems other than stripped spur gears. I have a pic on the next post: |

You can see the peening were the blue can meets the aluminum.
|
Okay. You got it covered then. I hate to see a good motor wasted.
I have had this happen to me on 7xl. |
Heres a funny vid
VID.

Got some pics with the new slipper natural on my Gmaxx
|
Looks very nice smhertzog! How do you like the handling with the new slipper?
|
The slipper natural is nothing short of incredible it makes you a much better driver. The car no longer wanders or darts when hitting ruts or bumps and puts power to the ground much better. I did have to grind off the cooling fins on the revo slipper so they didnt hit the motor mount just incase someone also runs into this problem. Great job Mike:027:

Nice truck! Looks like it handles really well.
Is that a 7xl or an 8xl motor? What dia. are the shocks? They look the same as my supershocks. |
