Amazing! Check this out!
There is hope for you guys that want nitro sound out of your electric. These guys are putting speaker systems in their electric airplanes and dubbing in actual sound from the real plane. The sound is in sync with the throttle as well.
You may think it sounds lame now but watch the video, pretty cool! http://media.putfile.com/Sound-equip...-P-47-Flight-1 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...1920&q=Corsair |
Tamiya is using this technique in their new pickup truck, too. That might be cool indeed.

Sounded funny sometimes on the ground, but sounded very good in the air... cool. I don't think that system would work in my 1/8 buggy. :)
|
Now all we need to do is install one of those smoking systems that planes use to get the full effect. :)

I thought it sounded pretty real. One sounded more real than the other though.
That just means it won't be long. They have them for buggies and trucks. |
It would be like cheating if we were able to use the sound system along with a smoking effect( if it is possible).
I just like the bee like sound of the electric rigs. Nothing is as cool as having super fast machine that passes by you with a supressed noise. |
That is pretty cool! My favorite is the one on Putfile.
|
That was the one I thought sounded more real.

lol, u know they have a sound setup for cars like that. They dont make synthetic ones but they amplifies teh cars sound. So if u hook it up, it can make any car ROAR! It even makes teh whole car shake. Imagine it on a minivan! lol, it might scare off any street racers.

You made me turn off Metallica for that :031: Actually it was pretty cool!

I wouldn't mind a plane that played Metallica either. :)
