Well most brushless motors have like a spot they hang or click or what ever
you want to call it.

A small click is not bad, but if it's loud, then I would worry a tad. The click comes from the magnet resistance i believe.

its not a click noise but a feeling in the fingers

coolhandcountry 12.22.2006 05:20 PM

It really shouldn't click at all. It should have like stiff spots in the turning. Not real stiff but where the magnets are pulled to one another. Some do some don't though.

cheers thanks for putting my mind at rest

It is where the rotor is being magnetized to the outer windings. The reason for the stiff spots like is the poles. You good to go man. No worries.
