warrior 7020 no power?

Is there a default setting on the warrior speed control that makes it run but not have full power?I cant seem to get full power out of the motor.just bougt the speed control used and hooked it up.Do I need to program it. If so where can I get the info from.

The manuals for the Warrior can be found here and here.

You should program the ESC to your controller. It sounds like the ESC "thinks" the controller isn't putting out the proper signal for full power even though it may be.

Also, set your transmitter for 50%/50% forward/reverse bias. And set yoour forward and reverse endpoints to 100%.

Do this BEFORE programing.

Reprogramming will probably solve your problems.

Just make sure the channel you are programming it on (normally channel 2 on your receiver) isn't reversed. If it's reversed programming won't work.

BTW: Here (http://www.bk-electronics.com/man_warrior_eng.pdf) is a link to the instruction sheet from BK. Although, I think the RC-Monster instructions BrianG Linked you to are easier to understand.
