Needing demensions on Lehner 1940
hey guys.......just trying to get the actuall length and thickness (width) of a 1940 7 or 8 turn motor.
also...if possible , if you have a qaurk 125b esc , i could use those too. just trying to get an idea of what my possibilities are. looking to convert my MBX-4 or my kanai 3. Thanks guys. Jeff |
Check the rc-monster store for the dimensions of the quark and check www.bk-electronics.com for the dimensions of the 1940.

Yeah, Brain put a lot of work into that!

Thanks! :)
To be honest, it looks harder than it really was. Much of those pages are generated by a common code library that is re-usable across all the pages, so I only had to enter the data once. |
hey guys , i have one more question for the night. when i measured out the mounting holes on the shaft side of my novak 5800 (540 size) , it looks as though the holes are about 1" even , or possibly 25.2mm -25.4mm apart....hard getting an exact measurement with my digital caliper. On the 550 sized motors like the Lehner 1940's , due you happen to know the distance between the holes on these motor's?
I'm going to attempt to make a brace just like my Mugen MBX one i have , re-adjust all the mounting holes for the chassis , and top plate bolts and also make it so it can accept a larger 550 size Motor. Crap as far as that all goes........do you guys know anyone who makes these braces? does Mike from here at RC monster do that stuff? Jeff |
According to the Lehner site, the spacing on all series 19xx is 25mm. 1" is 25.4mm. All the motors I've seen have the same hole spacing.
Mike (site owner) can make whatever you want. Just email him with your needs and he'll hook you up. :) |
hhmmm? interesting , i would of thought that the slightly bigger lehner's would of had a slightly bigger hole spacing.......i guess they are a little closer together than a standard 540 motor then.
And yeah........about mike , i wrote him last night and asked him what my options we're about trying to get these buggies going. I think i have picked out all the electronics and stuff , just need to figure out how i can get the motor mount braces made up and how much time he has. My guess is , he's probably pretty busy , so i'll wait till i hear back from him. thanks again Brian for all your help. jeff |
