No More link to Monster Maxx

Does anyone know why the Monster Maxx link is gone on the Castle Creation Web Site? It just usaully linked to a page that said it was "coming soon", but now it does even do that.

maby they had some server problems or there is something wrong with your computer....

lxmuff 01.11.2007 09:40 AM

There is just a blank spot where the link was. Everything else is still there.

As BrianG mentioned earlier (I think it was Brian) it may be to limit the number of calls & emails they get regarding the product.

Releasing the "teaser" so far ahead ofthe product release was boud to give them headaches.

In my industry we call this phenomenon "vaporware" Looks great! Markets Great! Fills a need! But no product to be had! Thus....Vaporware!

Yeah, it was me who mentioned it in another thread, but someone else pointed out the email/call hassles as the reason. If you really still want to see the teaser page, you can still navigate directly to it, but nothing is different...

I think that was me, I read it on the Car Action brushless forum, it was in a post by Joe ford

Could be all the hassle they are getting.
Every one wants to know when it is coming out.

Oh, sorry. I know I said something about it in another post. My apologies. :dft001:

crazyjr 01.12.2007 01:41 AM

Heck i may have gotten it from you, its been said here and on other posts

It's taking forever. I dont think that we'll be seeing it anytime soon.
Such projects sometimes end up in cancellation.

I hope it wont be cancelled, though. Where am I gonna find a controller that would handle hefty counts of cells with sky high amp rates and super low costs?

O'God..

neweuser 01.12.2007 11:44 AM

Well, I think that Castle has been so successful now that it would not be cancelled. Many people want this controller, so I think the demand is there where they just want to make sure that it's right.

captain harlock 01.12.2007 12:07 PM

Yeah, you're absolutely right about this.

crazyjr 01.12.2007 12:39 PM

Look how long the mamba max took, they are making sure they have the best product, with the least problems. I'm not for sure, but i think castle is one of the biggest brushless companies in the world and maker of one of the best lines of plane controler in the world, with the phoenix line, so they know what they need to do to knock the ball out the park. I personally am willing to wait till the perfect, finished product comes outand till them i'll run the mamba max esc that i got in the G2R.

captain harlock 01.12.2007 02:28 PM

I'll wait as well.

If the MMM is even 3/4 as good as we are all expecting it to be it will all but vaporize Novaks HV market. Righ now Novak is selling the HV even though itsn not that great system because it the only drop in full system option out there for those who may not be as educated on brushless as the typical user on this forum. If MMM can give comparable performance to a Quark/Neu combo for a price coparable to the Novak nobody will by the novak... Come to think of it.... almost nobody will buy the quark Neu combo either. I think they have the bar set very high as far as expectations from the system. If they can deliver it will be fantastic.
