9920 brakes or lack of
 

i tried two radios the stock e-maxx and a hitec both with same results , not much brake

did you try reprogramming your 9920

yeah with both

a few 9920s a while back had a braking problem but they were replaced under warranty and i would think that all of those would be out of circulation.
anyway if you think you have tried everything you could talk to mike and see what he says.
one more thing did you check your endpoints on your radio
