Problem with Astroflight 109+ V-Balance
Hallo my friends, i have a problem with my Astroflight 109 charger and New V-Balance system of Flightpower, i try to charge my EVO20 4900 4S1P, but after 30-40 seconds of charging the voltage in the display of Astroflight increase over 30 volts and the charger dsconnect the charging and Beep beep "error overvoltage".
Charging my pack without V-balance is ok. The problem i suppose is, astroflight and the metod of charging (no CC/CV)??? Thanks to all |
Yes, the Astroflight 109 isn't a CC/CV charger...
|
what does the 109 do then?
|
I thought that's exactly what it is... CC/CV.
Looks like something is wrong with the v-balance, if it charges fine without it. But I don't know anthing about this balancer. |
Here is what i know about this type of balancers;
if they measure an overvoltage on 1 cell, they stop charging. it brakes the contact between the battery/charger. With my graupner balancer, i need to push a button to make the connection active. |
The astroflight works fine without V-balance, but if i try to charge my battery with this, the charger respond to me with a "over voltage error" and the astroflight stop the charge.
Renè the EVO 20 4900 4S is FANTASTIC more punch respect a 3700 |
Good!! nice to hear.. !
if the battery gets loose from the charger, the voltage goes up.. with my graupner charger, it peaks to 55V. |

Yeah, but what type of charger is it then? i only know 1 way to charge lipo cells..
|
mmm, it is possible to use V-balance after charge?
|
Serum, to be honest, I have no clue...I use to know, but my memory isn't so good...
I would assume, but I'm not to sure.... |
That's not a good sign on your age Squee!
