Yeah it has been out for like 2 weeks or 3 it is cool i seen a guy wheelie about throught 3 isles in the hobby store (about 15 yards) and he could have kept going but he had to stop because the store ended. They look fun i thought about getting one just for laughs and as a backup when my others are sitting but that is about it.

Ive seen this about 2 weeks ago ; looks like fun!

tom255 01.16.2007 06:19 PM

For me honestly wheelies absolutly no fun.
I can understand crawling on rocks but what u do with wheelies?
No handling, high CG and ets, for me its waist of money :)
just my opinion

Sylvester 01.16.2007 06:37 PM

Same goes for me tom, i could do it for one run, but after id just get bored, thats why we put BL systems so we could bash, jump, race and do wheelies! :)

Too bad it's only 2wd. I know of a few people who bought 2 kits to build a crawler, but seems like a waste to me. The axles look pretty nice though.

Mike.L 01.16.2007 07:33 PM

its acutally not badd, i read up a review about it and it scored high 9's and 10's and its overall wat 9 i think. said it was great for wheelies and awsome from rock climbing.

yeah thats a flaw right there.......2wd.(would of scored 10 if it was 4wd)

Sylvester 01.16.2007 09:22 PM

It doesnt looks as if it would be the greatest crawler.. atleast to me.

Deffinately not in stock form. The only thing I would use from the Willy King is 2 rear axles.

jollyjumper 01.17.2007 06:45 AM

if you could change battery position it might be a fun basher without all the useless wheelies.

coolhandcountry 01.17.2007 12:42 PM

I think it needs a 4 wd installed.

Serum 01.17.2007 01:55 PM

It sure does Leroy.. I think it will be(come) an upgrade...

GorillaMaxx360 01.17.2007 02:30 PM

I saw a review on it in RC action they said it is a pretty well designed car exept for the no 4wd but the also said it has the capibility to be 4wd. I do not know if this means hpi sells a 4wd upgrade or making one is possable. But from the pic it apears all that is needed for 4wd is a front cvd to conect trans to front gear box. It is fun to drive and crawl they said but it only does 12 mph which is to slow for me IMO but for crawling that is not to bad.

It reminds me of Tamiya's Wild Willy. The name that is.
