Where is the cheepest place to get it? The lowest I could find was $300.

I think you found it for a fair price.
What are you going to use it in? and on how many cells? |
You can email mike to see how much he can get you one for.
|
Keep searching, you will find it for $275.

cool. now for the batteries. i'm going to use the quark monster esc with a custom made ceramic heat sink and fans. will everything servive twin 3s lipos?
|
No, the Quark isn't capable of 6S. it tends to act weird. The people at sky & technoligy told me they don't know of an issue, but by the experience of quite some users here, i can assure you it will not work stable.
If you want 6S, better not do it on the bigmaxximum either, it tends to run hot, at the 2200 Kv, it will run 45K, which is too hot. currentdraw will be crazy. I would say 4-5S at maxx for this motor, but running it at 5S is a relative hot setup. it's better to go for about a 1600-1700 KV on 6S (aim for 30-35K) What vehicle are you planning on using it in? and how much does it weight? and what is the gearing-ratio? |
Twin 2s 8000mah?
|
That still leaves some other questions open Skitz.
What vehicle are you planning on using it in? and how much does it weight? and what is the gearing-ratio? |
E-MAXX. low gearing for torque. I play in a small area. I don't really need the top end. I will talk to you guys later about what I need to do to the drive train to handle it.
|
yes, the quark and 6s are not a good combo. The good thing is, 5s on the MM and bigmaximum works very well, I have no heat issues (lightweight revo).
