I know that someone on the traxxas forum has made a crawler from his maxx. he uses a 14/77 gearing and two diffspools (can be made with the lathe!) and a HVmaxx BL setup.

ooo i might give it a crack at making the spool wif my lathe maybe wheels to i saw a guy on clodtalk make rims out of aluminum and a lathe looks simple but i know its hard

do they make a 55t motor?

How are you making a solid axle with an emaxx diff? Or are you just using the emaxx tranny and using axles from something else?

@rusty,

with the help of a spool..

yes they do make a 55t motor . there is an 80 t motor but its a very rare find . i plan on putting to 2 washers on each side of the diff bolting them together and welding tubes as the knucke holders look at this one on rccrawler mine will look like these -http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=751&highlight=hybrid+axles
