Hi-Po Twenty Lipo pack

I was in a crunch for a 4S Lipo pack, and my LHS happened to have a 4S pack that was labeled "Hi-Po PQ4400SP-4S" and on the back the label said "Twenty." It is wrapped in black shrink wrap and the cells appear to be spaced for cooling. I can see this through the circular holes in the wrap.

I did some checking and can't find any real info about these packs. What I have found is that there are several vendor sites and a few forum posts regarding Polyquest and Hi-Po packs and mention them as if they are the same thing. I've also looked around and can't find anyone selling this particular pack any longer. I've also seen Polyquest, Hi-Po, and Hyperion use brand names used interchangeably.

What I'd like to know is if this is actually a Hyperion pack. Where can I get more? Do I really want more? The reason I ask is that I was reading up on chargers and found the manual for the Hyperion EOS 1210i. What I found interesting is that the manual states that all Hyperion packs ever made can be charged at 2C and that the 1210i would do this. Can I charge this pack that I have at 2C?

the hyperion packs use enerland cells. they are rated at 2C charge. i wouldn't do this though. it shortens the lifespan of the pack. 1C charging, that's it for me.

Serum,

I really wasn't looking to do a 2C charge. What I really wanted to be able to do was run a 1.5C charge, just to keep actual full charge times under an hour. Do you know anything about these "Hi-Po" packs?

Like i said; it shortens the lifespan of the pack. 1C charging, that's it for me.

No, i don't know the particular cells you mentioned.

I have 4 polyquest twenty packs, 2 2s 3700 and 2 3s 3700, and they are nice packs. I agree with Serum on the 1c charge

These guys carry them: http://www.hobby-lobby.com/polyquest.htm

My pack doesn't say polyquest anywhere on it. The top of the label say "Hi-Po" whatever that means. It sure looks like a polyquest.

Thanks for the advise guys.
