Where the heck is the Monster Max ESC?
Come on castle. Keep your junky motors and at least release the MMM. Wonder what they're excuse is by now.
|
I was wondering the same thing. Although, I plan to run the MMM ESC and motor... it is still better to release just the ESC first, and then take your time and perfect the motors. They will also get money from selling the MMM esc's to fund for the testing of the MMM motor(s).
|
all anyone wants is the esc anyways :D
|
Maybe their worried that if they release the ESC on it's own people will buy it, but then buy another manufacturers motor to use with their ESC, and when their motor comes out later no one will need/want it anymore .
|
Mamba sells themselves as ''brushless systems''. Thats how they got to where they are. Yes people use their controllers with other motors, but 99% of them are still probably used with the Mamba motors. Most people just want to drop the cash, use the gearing the manual says, and go fast. They dont want to have to think about it.

well said bro!! phil |
I hope they can mate their MMM with a pro level motor( you know, segmented, nickle plated rotors, built in heatsink, handwound, etc).
|
I'm sure they will work with at least all the motors MM works with. Lehner, Feigao, BK
|
there is a thread here where someone said they were basing the motors on neu's design

I noticed on the side of the motor box at LHS where they put a check stating what motor is in the box, there was a fifth box 2200L. Not sure if this is new or old.
|
i just heard from the belgian distributor that the motor is like a lehner?!?
that be:004: |
2200L sounds nice... mine don't have that check-box.... :)
From all the CC praise of the Neus, I tend to think they are working on a Neu-clone. They tried to get Neu to make them at one point. |
That sounds good, but I'd rather it said 2200XL. If it is indeed a "2200L" motor coming out and it's like a Neu, I suppose it'll fill that hole in the Nue line up of 1512 motors where the kv jumps from 2000 to like 2600. I hope it has a good bottom end. I've been running an 8L in my buggy lately, until the motor for the MGT comes in and I can put the 7XL back in my buggy. I do notice the reduced torque of the L can motor. On the other hand, the Castle "L" motor, might be a whole different animal.

MMM I heard was coming out at the end of this coming summer.
