Best use of Lehner 1920/10?

I had originally purchased this motor for my maxx, but to my disappointment it seems as though this will not work out. I put the stock titans back in and the thing is just as fun as i remember. So now i have this motor sitting here just begging to be used...

Any suggestions? I would prefer some sort of buggy/truggy...

At first i wanted to put it in a losi xxx-4, but after reading about them being fragile im not so sure anymore. There are no tracks near me so ill just be running it in a dirt lot, with some custom jumps of course, lol.

I just want something that will handle well and be fun to play with on the weekends. I have been out of the hobby for a while now and am just getting used to everything again, but im not up to date on the latest models and kits out there. If anyone can help or offer their opinion i would appreciate it, thanks.

Why not the new CRT .5?

You will probably need a custom center diff mount that includes an adjustable motor mount, which Mike can probably make for you.

It will be plenty fast in it too.

If you don't already know, the CRT .5 is a mini truggy thats roughly the size of a 1/10 scale electric buggy, but a inch or two shorter.

That would be the perfect sized vehicle IMO since it's 1/12 scale. It would be plenty of power and wouldn't be working the motor too hard.

hmm... well i just took a quick look at it and seems the price for the kit is around 400 dollars? If that's the case then i cant do it atm, way out of my price range. I was thinking more along the lines of something i could purchase off ebay for around 200, such as a used roller; or should i think of something else?

That's probably the RTR version, or maybe the price off TowerHobbies. I just got my CRT.5 pro kit (no motor, servo, rx/tx) for $275. Still pricey but no $400...

Or an HPI 18SS mt2, not a truggy but a nice car for the motor.

it's a great motor in 1/10 stadium trucks, runs nice and cool on 3s lipo with long runtimes and plenty of power, can run on 4s too, hotter though and a bit ballistic in a light 1/10 ST,60mph is quite easy to achieve with this motor on 4s in my xxxt for example.
