2-Speed Project, advice needed

hey guys,

i was planing on going nitro, so i bought a brand new FOC t-maxx tranny. I have this sitting here and though, why not try to put in in my emaxx. I just bought a CF g-maxx, and i could make a motor plate to mount to it and it would line up to the spur perfectly. Now, the only question is...gearing. Im not sure what the difference ratios is in a emaxx and tmaxx tranny, but i think it isnt too far away. I am running 16/72 now on 16 cells with a 10L. Im looking for a little more low end torque and a little more speed...not alot. So my question is, what pinion gear will i need to stay around this gearing i have now? Its just an idea, but i think it would be cool. Will a stock t-maxx tranny hold up to 16cells/10L? thanks

The t-maxx tranny doesn't stand a chance against your setup, and you would also need mechanical brakes if you plan on stopping.

thanks mike, looks like i will just sell the tranny then.

I have thought about it myself, but the t-maxx tranny is nowhere near as durable as the E tranny, and I can't get into mechanical brakes on an electric vehicle.

Too bad, if you had a OTB FOC T-Maxx tranny it would be bulletproof heh.
