I'm thinking about putting my hacker 9XL in my revo and use my maxamps 2s 8000mah lipo on one side and my maxamps 3s 8000mah lipo tothe other side for a total of 5s lipo. I used my wanderer 12XL on maxamps 6s 8000mah lipo(3s lipo on each side) but found out that i need more speed. Will i have problems discharging the 2s vs the 3s? thanks again guys!

They will be fine as long as the cells are the same manufacturer, size, type and quality (based on how many times they have been charged/discharged), the controller will see them as one 8000 mAh 5S pack. You should be fine, as the cells will discharge in unison.

And to be sure of the equal discharge of the batts - if possible use a battery balancer - to make sure all the cells in both packs are the same voltage... Happy running....

IMO, the best way to do it (if you are inclined or able) would be to pop open the ends of the two packs that you want to run in series and turn then in a "saddle" pack. I'd go ahead and wire up a balancing harness to both packs. That way you can discharge and charge both packs at the same time as one battery pack. Actually, you really wouldn't need to open up the ends of the packs. Just make sure that you have the balance tap wires straight and solder a new pack side tap to the existing wires.

Or better yet, the Hyperion LB10A balancer can be networked to another LB10A then you can balance all the way around (cells and packs).

Cartwheels, does that work if you aren't using a Hyperion charger? I don't remember.

The setup you want is fine, I use it on my Revo G2R and with a 9XL BK wander, its fast, i got 37mph with conservative gearing

I don't use a hyperion charger either. I'm pretty sure it will work with other chargers as well. I haven't networked them myself, just seen it in the instructions. I charge my packs then balance them after they are done charging.
