best motor for e-revo

I'm building a e-revo and i would like to know what would be the best brushless motor and speed controller setup for general bashing (jumping and off roading that sort of thing):032: , for under $300 Aus?!? :002: preferabley on a pay pel or other safe paying site please!:027: :027: :027:

Thank you very much to any one that replies.

Whatever you get, I'd strongly suggest this site here.
The shop is quick and as safe as it can get. Plus, you can get everything you need at one stop, if it's not listed on the site just email Mike, he'll take care of you.

For under 300 bucks, I'd get a Mamba Max ESC and a Wanderer. Assuming 4S I'd take a 7XL and a 8XL.
As for the best there is, you'll have to spend more than 300 I'm afraid, as the high end motors alone go almost for that. But you won't be disapointed with the Wanderers either, as the main difference between your 90 bucks Wanderer and the $300 Lehners is efficiency (less heat, bit more runtime)

Hope this helps

Edit: forgot about the UBEC... you'll need one for the MM on anything above 3S Lipo.

i don't get the hole lipo thing what makes them so good?:032: :024: :002:

And what does 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s and so on mean? :032: :024: :002:

how many of the 3s, 4s, 5s thingies can it take, also how many can a Feigao 540c 8xl take?:032: :024: :002:

almost forgot, what is a UBEC and what does it do?

It sounds like you really should read this. I think it will help answer a lot of your questions. Once you read this, post back with any questions and then we can help. You really need to understand each individual item fairly well before you can make a rational decision on what to get.
