Are they any good? What is their web address? Are they reasonably priced? Sorry for all of the questions and thanks for the help in advance! Mr.lst

www.truerc.com

Yes, if used in 2P their 4K packs are good to go for allmost any application we know in MT's.

It looks like they are only 10C packs?

Serum 04.14.2007 12:36 PM

i guess you missed the 2P part?

If anything, Dan underrates the packs...

I'm running a couple of truerc 5S2P 8Ah packs in my Muggy with an 8XL and MM esc. The pack doesn't even break a sweat. I don't know how it would do in a 4S setup with a hotter motor, but in my truck it doesn't seem to be having any problems. He ships very quickly too. I ordered my packs on a Saturday and got them on Monday. The bang for the buck is unquestionable.

i've put a few runs on a 5s2p 8Ah pack, w/ a neu 1215 2.5d, in my onroad, and they've performed great. and flown out of the car twice, so they're durable too :)

I had the 10C 8000 5S2P packs in my Revo for that 5S (3S+2S saddle) lipo MM vid I did. They have plenty of power for me. Stayed cool as well. I now have a 2x 2S 6400 15C pack of theirs which I also really like as well.

The only drawback is that most of the lipos are 50mm wide, so don't fit in alot of stock batt trays. The 6400 pack does (45mm wide.) Bang for buck is awesome.

Yeah, the truerc 8Ah packs are just a bit wider than the maxamps packs, but he plus side is that the cells aren't quite as tall either. My 5S2P 8Ah truerc pack is only marginally taller than my 4S2P 8Ah maxamps pack.
