A noticable increase in power. The 3.3 has more bottom & top end than the 2.5 .

Yep, more power..

And it uses the 'new' 3.3 shafts, and the only difference is that the 'outputcup' changed slightly so it fits the new T-maxx 3.3 bulkheads. So nothing fancy changed.

So you get a more powerfull motor and a slightly longer wheelbase.

The 3.3 is extended in the front, so it pushes the steering servo(s) further back, forcing you to use longer steering linkages.

well what would be the best one to convert to a E-revo then?

crazyjr 04.15.2007 09:31 PM

Depends, if you go gorilla the 2.5 is better, because you get the proper linkage with 2.5 chassis. If you use stocker chassis the 3.3 is better, because you need that inch of wheelbase

i would b converting by my self like dafinays (dont know how to spell it)

3.3 is better. Especially with brushless, the extra wheelbase helps tame the wheelies a bit :).

concreat 04.16.2007 06:33 AM

cool thanks! does the 3.3 chassis fit on the 2.5?

crazyjr 04.16.2007 03:33 PM

In your case the 3.3 would be best

MetalMan 04.16.2007 04:46 PM

To put a 3.3 chassis on a 2.5, you need longer steering links (or just one if you're using one steering servo) and a longer center-front slider shaft.

I'll second that. You can find 3.3 rollers fairly easy theses days.
