EVX+Titans Stutter?
I noticed recently my G-maxx stutters. It sort of loses power then quickly gets it back again, sometimes stops completely, I have to let go of the throttle and accelerate again.
I think it is something to do with my EVX? Or Titans? They seem to be hot after a run, is this the cause? Please help, Thanks. |

When it stops running do you have to let it sit for a minute before it starts running again or just let off the throttle for a quick second and proceed to gas it again? You may wanna check the temps (how long can you touch the motors, batteries, and/or speed control?). And you may wanna look for loose connections in the wiring. Consider the solder connections in your battery packs as a potential problem, in light of your recent issues w/ the batteries staying in the chassis. |
are you sure you've got capacitors installed on the titans. I once tried to run titans without them, and it was uncontrollable - very similar to what your describing

CHUD is right, I have to let go of throttle, wait for abit, then it goes again for a while.
Capacitors are on, and soldering done well. |
I revesed the motor wires (red to black instead of red to red) and it works fine now. :)
Any reason why this would of caused it? |
