FLM Ext. Chassis.....Steering Linkage Upgrade?

Hey guys,

I have the FLM ext. chassis and was looking for an upgrade for the steering linkage. My stock linkage looks pretty cheezy now with all this *bling* goin' on. :027:

Thanks,
Shayne

Best hopup on the steering linkage is comging from UE, their servo saver rocks.

Another option (cheaper) would be the proline bell crank servo saver.

Hey Serum!

Do you happen to have a link to the UE servo saver? Thanks for the response, bro!

anybody got a pic of how their steering is hooked up using stock links? i put my truck together and can't get it to line up. even fliping the servo around i only have enough clearence to turn one direction and not the other. i was thinking of maybe switching the linkage around so the one with the horn(?) us furthest away from the servo, but i'm tired of tearing into this thing for now.

Proline makes a maxx bellcrank style servo saver?

I know that they make a revo steering arm.

They use to make it. Like all good products Proline ever made for the Maxx, they were discontinued...

Tashpop, can you get a picture of how you have it setup?

they did - i believe they are out of production but are still around.

i had one for about a year - it worked much better than stock, but it's a cheap imitation of the UE servo saver. the UE one is 100x better.

Thats the best one I have really, and the camera batts are on charge. The best bet are the exploded views on the Traxxas website. Also, a pic or two of your steering would help diagnose the issue (I had trouble to begin with, but figured it out in the end).

that pic was all i needed, simply only needed to switch the linkage over on the saver to clear everything.
